My girlfriend is having trouble starting Part 2 of the Pokemon Scarlet DLC

I'm having same issue. I fully completed the story sat through the credits received. My master ball played through all of the teal mask. Got to the to be continued screen and never received the phone call, I tried all the fixes and none of them work, especially the one where they tell you to redownload the teal mask because now on the switch too you have virtual game cards and I've already tried ejecting the virtual game card and reloading it and it still won't trigger the phone call. The man in the white suit is not in the academy Hall. I can go to the blueberry academy but I can't do any of the story because it's not triggering and for me starting a new save is out of the question. I put far too much time into this game to just start again. Hoping that it might trigger this time. I have a physical Scarlet game card and purchased the proper DLC because as I stated I have completed the teal mask. I don't know what to do anymore. I've spent several hours trying to figure out how to get the call to trigger and it won't. If anybody has any hints or tricks please let me know. I am running the latest version which I think is 4.0

Actually I figured it out I must have had a glitched start when it first released and it let me start the indigo disk before beating the main story or teal mask..don't know how that happened but I was already enrolled in the blueberry academy exchange program
