My girlfriend is having trouble starting Part 2 of the Pokemon Scarlet DLC

My girlfriend got the DLC for Pokemon Scarlet (she only has Scarlet version for the GEN 9 game) and she just got done completing Part 1 of the DLC and she having trouble starting Part 2 of the DLC.

She did the following:

*Beat the main story

* Beat Part 1 of the DLC

* She is running version 3.0.1 of the game

She still has not receive a call from Director Clavell about Blueberry Academy. I own both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet plus the DLCs for both games. I Completed all DLC for Scarlet. I just got started of DLC Part of Of Violet. Right after the very first battle with Kieran I got a call from Director Clavell stating he was talking to the director of Blue berry Academy and stating he wants to do a Student Exchange Program. Letting me know I can start part 2 of the DLC.

Is my girlfriend doing something wrong or has not yet trigger the start of part 2>

I think you go to the academy in the middle to talk to someone to get the 2nd dlc started

Oh yeah I've heard players getting confused this way

I had the same problem with mochi madness

If all else fails, you might have to make a new save file.

don't you have to beat the academy ace tournament?? I may be misremembering but I think you need to do that

I already beat the indigo disk arc.

no I was doing a nuzlocke and I hadn’t beat champion yet though beat all gyms and it let me go do indigo disk

You only need to do that if you want to continue the DLC beyond unlocking BP missions if I remember correctly.

But to just go to BB academy, you don't even need to finish the Teal Mask.
