Has there been any updates in regards to fixing Hidden Transformation Ditto?

Since there's been buffs to United Wings I've been wanting to try it out and it is frustrating to say the least that I can't play it to its full potential because playing Ditto softlocks the game. Has there been any word on it being a known bug?
