I mean in the original pmd rescue team games the main problem that arises is an asteroid is coming to hurt the mystery dungeon world and in the Pokemon ORAS games the meteor is stopped by Rayquaza and Zinnia mentions that she didn't want the asteroid sent to another world so maybe this asteroid in a different reality…
