another spoiler: the rival’s name is Carolin and her partner Pokémon is the elemental monkey with a type advantage over your starter. her final team is Honchkrow, Mega Scizor, Swoobat, Copperajah, and (depending on your starter choice) Simisear and Feraligatr, Simipour and Decidueye, or Simisage and Cinderace.

- and a zubat that i named Amity. bat rhymes with cat so it’s close enough
- Toadsworth has evolved into a piplup, then a lombre, which is just an unnecessary extra step.

someone’s MEGA FERALIGATR (which has 160 base attack) only did 46 damage to my kanto ninetales??? HOW???? they also used ice beam when ice fang exists???????? why are you investing in its special attack??

Personality: Celyn is ambitious, though often loses focus. A Pokémon professor, they are very passionate about Pokémon and understanding their biology.

[S “discarded” his name when he began his journey to find Volcanion, since it was “unnecessary baggage”]
|| Appearance: Shoulder-length rusty brown hair with bangs covering one eye. He wears formal clothing (long-sleeved button-up shirt, tailcoat, slacks) in various shades of brown, mostly matching the colours of his Pokémon. He is slightly tanned from all the time he spends outside.
|| Personality: S is described as mysterious by acquaintances, and focused by his friends. Once he sets his eyes on something, he will do anything in his power to get to it. Despite this, he cares a lot about his Pokémon, as they are his only permanent companions.

|| Sawsbuck - holds Flame Orb, ability Chlorophyll. Knows Protect, Facade, Horn Leech, Megahorn.
Encountered in - S’ hometown. Sawsbuck is his best friend and first Pokémon. To take advantage of its ability, S prefers to battle in the sun.
