Arnold open the door it’s nothing like he expects
“So this is the house of the girl that disappeared 3 months ago Arnold can you go check in the room we need evidence for the case.”
Arnold walk to the room inside is a calender as he check most days on there have a daily plan as he scrolls he realizes that it stops on the week of the disappearance
“Hey laurel I think I found something”
Laurel walks to the room out of all the breathe he has
“Arnold have you found something that could give us a lead”
“If I didn’t then why would I call you up here, disappearances are very serious, well not like you would understand, you view the world like it’s a circus”
“Hey I’m not that bad”
“I never called you bad only scatterbrained. Well anyway it seems like the day she disappeared she was going to nightskip park. That’s where we shall investigate.”
…
“Hey Arnold we are finally at nightskip park. Though I have a question where are the slides?”
“Dude you’re 24 and you have a job. So to keep things simple cause it seems you can’t understand it otherwise. Park=baby job=man.”
“Sheesh Arnold just cause you experienced something bad, doesn’t mean you should take it out on me. Plus this is a dud case why are you so adamant about solving it.”
“Really laurel if I have to recall for the 10,000 time this girl was around my sisters age. If we can’t find the person behind the disappearance then she could be in danger.”
“Fine look at that tree find if you can find any evidence over there.”
Arnold approaches the tree littered around the tree is a bunch of blue sparkles.
“Hey laurel I found something strange should we go back to the lab to test it.”
“If that’s the closest lead we got if it can help us pinpoint a few suspects we can get this case up and running”
“Finally you can talk some sense.”
….
“Laurel what do you mean it came up as having weird metallic signatures and that it’s pointing in a direction.”
“Plus we don’t need it anyway someone has already committed to the crime.”
“wait actually! Who?”
“Her sister.”
“that just doesn’t make since no where in any records, witness testimony, or anything else where that would give a motive to the sister. There is however a sense of guilt that I saw while interviewing her not the kind where you committed a crime, but the one where you weren’t there when they needed you most, she maybe committed because she felt like she needed to be punished.”
“Whatever case closed let’s go get some pizza”
“Hey let’s go follow that metal signature maybe it will lead us to the right place.”
“Fine ‘Gandalf’ trying to go on a grand adventure and drag me along. I’ll go but only to prove that you are the only real scatterbrained one here.”

“The metallic signal is pointing In this direction so it should be apx right here.”
“I don’t see anything Arnold lets turn back.”
“Laurel I see something in the distance, let’s have a closer look”
“Arnold wait up!!!”
On the ground is a necklace
“This may just be what we are looking for.”
Arnold reaches down to pick it up.
“ARNOLD, ARNOLD, THIS REALLY ISNT FUNNY ARNOLD HOW THE HECK DID YOU DO THAT KIND OF MAGIC?! DISAPPEARING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, ITS KIND OF FREAKING ME OUT.”

“Huh where am I? What is this place? Why do I have this necklace on? WHERE IS LAUREL? WHY THE HECK AM I A HOOTHOOT”
A small applin wearing a chain similar to the one Arnold found around him.
“Hey was that a battle challenge cause I’m all in I haven’t lost a single fight ever since I found my lucky necklace”“I have no time for a silly little battle.”
“Well-ell-ell-ell youuuuu’ve already committed sir so count yourself lucky to be beaten by the great cobbler.”
“Please I don’t know the law in this world but it has to have something about not attacking innocents”
“Sir you are speaking a forum language to me, seem more sophisticated than the rest of those shadow dummies”
“Those shadow whatch-a-mah-what?”
“Well it seems you’re not aggressive or have those weird shadow wings the rest of them have. Also your waaaaaaay to slow to be one.”
“I still have no clue what your talking about.”
“That thing about to bite you.”
“Wait wh——— OWWWW! Why didn’t you tell me sooner.”
“It would be funnier to see a reaction out of you anyway.”
Cobbler rolled and knocked the shadow mightyena from grasping Arnold, sending him flying to the sky. Arnold’s necklace starts to grow as that happens the damages from the battle start to fade away. Causing both cobblers and Arnold’s amulets to glow.
“Your worst than Laurel but if I’m going to find a way out I guess I have to stick with you.”
(Meanwhile inside a strange ————. . dimension inside. the amulets)

”Come on of all the other heroes the first one I have to be reunited with is you.”
“Come on zyphalious you should be grateful you shall be graced with yours truly presence. The one the only 7497 time winner at literally every competition (if only counting the ones with medals) the jack of all trades + extra pizazz in that too. Victor!!!”
“Can you stop being so egotistical this is a serious matter.”
“WOW how rude of you at least I’m not chaotic like hoops”
“He doesn’t constantly brags about what he does.”
“Hmph at least I’m not as energetic as neon.”
“He is also not as much as a chatterbox as you.”
“Well I’m not as stubborn as terry, shy as Shauna, scatteredbrained as Luna, and old as celena.”
“He gets things done, she is kind, she is royalty, and she is wise, which leaves you, guess I’ll just say you are annoying.”

No idea when or if my latest post will show but I'll just say that since you have the Character Sheets in PDF form, just convert them to JPEG/PNG via a free online site and then upload them to an image hosting site like imgur(which is free) and then link to them via insert media. Otherwise, post the PDF and I'll do it when I got the time. I'm no expert on this stuff when it comes to troubleshooting but an educated guess would be to look at my character sheet and see what the difference is with respect to settings, although my gut says there aren't any so shrugs. Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving. Aim to get a Switch 2 tomorrow at Nintendo Store in San Francisco along with 3-5 games. Z-A and Scarlett are likely going to be among them.

i made an imgur account right now so I'm converting all the pdf into png and then posting them (though it takes time since the site i use to convert i have to wait an hour between converting, also i tried posting the pdf and i only got more confused of what to do so I'll do that throughout today and probably set a reminder for the campaign time after i get everyone. i think the order I'm posting them is @Voltareon2012 character, @WildWorld1996 character, @Hades0918 character, @UnovanZorua character, and finally yours since you already seem to have a copy, also happy thanksgiving (even though its a day late) also i think if there is a difference it would probably be found in the metafile of the html or in the javascript

You do @Candy0_o character sheet(signed up on Page 1) or @Flametix(Monk Marill named Kazuma on Page 9) as I've gone through all 34 pages and I don't think you've finished with those two just yet. Granted neither of them have responded since they posted so… shrugs. Not much you can do as they say. I wish you luck DM.

UnovanZoruaDigital art is good, though it will take some time to get used to. Make a vertical canvas for it to look like a page. It's also much easier to erase mistakes or move lines in digital art.

It's also cheaper as long as you have a phone or tablet, or even just a computer. I recommend Ibis Paint X, it's free and nails the balance of being simple, unlike some other apps with buttons and menus I'd need a whole guide to understand, while having options to do things more complex than what's on the glorified notes apps. There's a subscription, but the only reasons you'd really want to buy it for are animation and an anti-AI filter option when saving drawings.

I want this information, too. I dislike my art. I picture something in my head but can't ever seem to put it on paper. People tell me to learn the basics to improve, but I don't actually know what the basics are and I don't want to spend money on an art school to learn it.

As an artist, my advice is:
- Watch YouTube tutorials.
- Draw and draw and draw and draw and draw and draw and draw and draw and practice and fix your mistakes and try to mimic better artists until you understand how to draw correctly.
It will take a long time. You will look at your art and think a pre-schooler could draw better. You will hate drawing because WHY CAN'T I DRAW TWO EYEBROWS THAT LOOK THE SAME AND WHAT EVEN IS THAT HAND. It isn't fun at all when you're trying to draw at a level you haven't reached yet, like trying to Mega Evolve a Bulbasaur with a Venusaurite.
Not once in the many years I've "enjoyed" drawing have I noticed my improvement across just a short amount of time or a few months. It will take years for most people and the only way to improve is to keep trying. It took me years to just somewhat understand some anatomy and I still don't fully understand how to draw legs.
But, eventually, if you just practice and work hard enough, you'll reach a point where it's actually not that bad. Obviously, most people will compare that "not that bad" art to art made by professionals that have been drawing and painting for decades and be sad that the five or ten years they've taken drawing seriously don't make them as good as someone who's been studying art for fifty, because it often takes someone who isn't the most sane person in the room to keep doing this for years and years in hopes of getting better. Don't compare your newbie art to the Mona Lisa or professional artists who draw a billion drawings an hour because it's their profession. Just improve at your own pace.
What helped me the most was YouTube videos from professionals explaining how drawing specific things like faces or expressions or perspective or poses or anatomy or hands or colours or shading or line art or backgrounds or etcetera, and trying to mimic professional artists. I wasn't that good, but I kept doing it until I figured out what I was doing wrong and tried to fix it and repeat and repeat and repeat, and now I'm at a level where I'm genuinely confident in my art and skills (while still improving because art is never that easy), when I used to draw like a child when I was a child (meaning I used to draw ugly stick figures and things you'd expect from a child at one point, like all people, until I spent literal years working on getting better at art).

And never compare yourself to young prodigies or people who understood how to draw quick or at a young age. Most people aren't like that and would take longer to reach that level, and starting later would obviously mean that the age you learn how to draw a hand right is different than someone who started at the age of five. Some Pokémon learn moves at later levels than a Pokémon that learns the same move, and you can't change that. Just keep training your art skills. Sorry if the Pokémon metaphors are corny, but I really wanted to express my points in the easiest way to understand.

In conclusion:
-Art is fun and suffering simultaneously, and it will continue to hurt you for years and it's not fun sometimes, but eventually if you continue to suffer long enough it might end up being something awesome occasionally and you might find it fun. Ten out of ten experience, would recommend. It's amazing that humans are weird enough to invent something like this to express their complicated thoughts and preserve short moments and memories for absurd amounts of time.

I’ll try that I might just have a go at making the comic anyway to the best of my ability because if I don’t try I don’t know what I need to improve on and I may never do it because I feel incompetent (also the story has been in my head nonstop and I think having tips afterword can help me know what I have to improve)

My biggest question after all that is; How long did it take to type all that? Just kidding, though I am curious, but what I do want to know is what people you would advise to watch on YouTube? I never considered that. I always use those art books for how to draw anime and manga (the two I want to learn) and they give you steps on what to do but they don't explain it. They say draw a circle and a cross in it for the face, but they don't explain the point of the cross. They say what shading is but not actually how to do it. I need someone that will walk me through each step and explain its purpose and how to do it properly. We can move this to my page of you want @clasingla so that a question you didn't ask is taking up space on your page.

cool I think my biggest weak points are definitely multi legged creatures, hands, perspective, shading, lighting, texture, basically everything else too also consistency from one drawing to the next

most likely going to do each arc in parts since I plan for them to be on the longer side each arc is like a separate story first arc I plan to have the main cast as mudkip Plusle cleffa and wooper the second arc is going to have the mc’s be espurr amaura zeraora arc 3 is going to have togedemaru eevee nacli elgyem skitty Jolteon and arc 4 I haven’t decided Pokémon yet and arc 5 is going to be a grand finale where all main characters come back with a bigger focus of Plusle cleffa espurr amaura elgyem eevee and two characters from arc 4

Congrats. Taking a break myself but I did post a reply with my rolls and I printed out a Character Sheet that I'll fill in manually(with some help if needed). I may try to fill it in via PDF and upload it and post it here but I don't know if the Forum will post it. Last time I tried doing something like this, it still hasn't shown up yet…

First spell choices are up. Origin I opted for was Clockwork Soul since I think it meshes with my Backstory the best and may prove useful with Blaze. The 4 cantrips were Ray of Frost, Frostbite, Minor Illusion and Sorcerous Burst in the event this is posted before my replies are. I'll get around to doing the character sheet sometime tomorrow or Monday. I changed it to jpeg when I uploaded it to imgur but I figure png will work.
PS: I have no idea if my choices are any good lol.

So I trained and became stronger, taking declined rescue request out of the garbage. It was nice to see others reunited something I never got to felt. I had to pretend I was okay. I was a figure that was gossiped about but never known. I had to keep up the facade. Though when I’m alone I look at the night sky and cry it’s the only thing I can do. It was once something that brought me joy and wonder. Only to be left as one of the only painful scars left of that day which I don’t want but feel the burden of taking. This half locket is my last memory of the place. The only thing making me keep up this facade and promise I made that day.”

Sorry to bother you, but in the future for my Malamar story, I want to use a character kind of based off you.
I had you in mind for this part when thinking of the story. It might be because of your chapter in the Forums Story, but I want you to be a scientist in Lumios City. You'll be the one that helps the main character get a vital object to finish the story.
You will have a Meganium and Beheeyem unless you prefer otherwise.
I just want to know the character's name, gender, personality, and appearance. It doesn't have to be you in real life, just how you want to be portrayed. There is no rush because the chapter won't be here until about 7 out 8, and I'm going into 5, so you've got time.
