Playing Z-A
I've decided to make a discussion to comment on my thoughts on Z-A. This will probably contain spoilers in the comments.
So far, the most notable thing to have happened to me is that I now have a shiny Victreebel and 4/6 that of my team are Lv. 20 or higher. I tried to catch a Lv. 39 Talonflame, failed, and fell off from a roof into the entrance of a Pokémon Center to escape. I also spent a few minutes repeatedly trying to sneakily catch a Lv. 20+ Ariados in the sewers when my team was full of Lv. 10-14 Pokémon.
As for where I'm at:
Finally doing Emma's side quests after exploring most of the city. The pink crystal things haven't been addressed yet, only acknowledged, but I think they have something to do with Diancie, the only Kalos mon to have a Mega in XY, who is also associated with crystals and stones. The light of Light of Ruin is also pink, and I think it could be related to the intro scene with the pink Prism tower, which probably has something to do with the crystals.

I'm now rank W. Not much has happened other than my Kirlia becoming a Gardevoir and having visited the Lumiose museum.
Apparently, Volo is immortal like we all thought because of the Sinjoh and Arceus plates hiker, since a stranger donated the Arceus clothes in the museum and looked nostalgically at Laventon's sketches that were only rediscovered recently.

Of course they're giving us free Kanto starters before the actual, literal Kalos starters. They're getting less focus in their own remake than in the original, the Megas were probably only made so people don't complain about the Kalos starters getting ignored in their own region and that's why we can only get them by waiting a billion months for and battling in this game's exhausting battles online. I guess I did get a Chespin through a three phase fight side quest, but I wish they'd just give us the Kalos starters as a gift instead of having to make everything about Kanto.
Edit: They're not letting me escape, I can't use the elevator, I can't fly away, I'm being forced to take one of these creatures and add them to my team. I don't want this. Can I please just be given 6 Fennekin already. And Delphoxites as compensation for having to deal with this.

So I am about to beat up Corbeau and then find out why Lysandre is helping me out.

Taxis don't battle you if you have no money anymore. They just take the little amount of money you have and turn it into zero without fighting you.

I can finally Mega Evolve my Gardevoir (Lv. 33), and I'm going to reach rank F soon.

My whole team is fully evolved. Except for Binacle. Finally saw one of the new Megas in a battle, and I'm now rank F.
Jett is still suspicious in my opinion. She's been so quiet and non-existant outside of the intro.
