Please take the MMO out of the Single Player game
I've been playing Pokemon since the beginning, Yellow was my first, and then I got Red and Blue, and to this day I still love it. However, with recent news and speculations we'll say, it seems like they're going towards incorporating more and more MMO style things into Pokemon, and I really really hope they don't.
Maybe I'm an anomaly, but I've always played Pokemon so that I don't have to play with other people, it was never required so you can do end-game content. You could always trade with people, sure, so you can get the pokemon that weren't in your game, that's fine. But with the recent addition of raids, so you can get legendaries that were once always a part of the core game, it's not fun.
Again, Pokemon has always been a single player game, and I really hope it stays that way. I'm fine with the speculated MMO style city hub, but I'm really hoping that Pokemon stays a single player game, and they get rid of multiplayer raids that are required so you can get legendary/mythical pokemon

Massively Multiplayer Online. Kind of similar to SwSh's Wild area when you're connected to the internet.

It's funny, because people have been begging for a Pokémon MMO and more connectivity for decades, to the point that there were a few fanmade MMOs back in the day. Maybe some are still running if they've managed to avoid the Ninten-lawyers.
Maybe Nintendo will patent the very concept of interactive software next week in their ongoing efforts to thwart Palworld, and that will inadvertently take out the last of them.
I wouldn't worry about main-series Pokémon becoming an MMO any time soon. Game Freak can barely get their games to stable functionality in single player, and the hilariously jittery and dysfunctional SwSh wild area and SV's half-baked co-op mode gave us a look into what an MMO might look like if they dared to attempt it.
I too like the single player experience, but I have no reason to believe Game Freak are willing to invest the time and resources to realise a full multiplayer experience, if they are even capable of it. Nothing to worry about.
