I have an interesting idea for the perspective of the story, rather than it be from the perspective of the protagonist it be from the perspective of others retelling the story from their point of view.

I was thinking first person, but I don't think that's a bad idea. I wouldn't mind doing that. So it would be the Trial Captains recalling their battle with Izzy. I would still be able to write first person because it is from the memory of the character. I'm down!

There won't be an elite four, this is gonna take place 10 years before the events of Sun/Moon and take place actually when the events of Diamond/Pearl occurred. I would add more trials, at least 2 for Melemele and 3 for the others.

That seems like it would be a good idea, but I have concerns… What if you want to add some other details that the trial captain dosen't exactly see, or how the protagonist feels?

Who's Melemele? Who's the others?
Everyone gets to make their own Trial Captain.
Why would it take place during Diamond and Pearl? This is supposed to take place like Ash's. Not exactly his but similar.
The Elite Four was never a for-sure thing. Just an idea. I didn't care if it was there or not, only using it if we had extra people.
I want to just go along with what you're saying, but I need answers to these.
I want to make sure everyone else still gets their freedom of who they write.
