Please re-asses Deluxe Pack

    Definitely disappointed in Deluxe ex.

I have friends that are likely going to quit as a result as we've been working on completing the base sets. The improvements to trading really helped with that.

But releasing a massive, time-limited set that is largely reprints with standard AND reverse-holos in the base set makes it very unlikely that we're going to be able to complete this base set without dropping a good amount of money on gold to open more packs.

It feels like that was the only intention of this set - to drive up sales - and I get it, it's a business. But it's also pretty disrespectful to the players that enjoy collecting the base sets.

Even looking at the emblem quest requirements. I need something like 150 unique cards to get both emblems. Best case scenario (no repeats) I'm looking at 38 packs. That's extremely tight for a free-to-play player for a time-limited event. I'm not a F2P player, but I'm far from a whale, and I feel like I'm going to struggle completing this set.

As OP stated in the title, please re-asses.

I think the standard reprints of 1-3 diamond should count in the old sets - or, preferably, just be removed from the pack pool entirely. Keep the reverse holos as part of the set, and have those be the only low rarity cards available. This feels like it could've been a good catch-up mechanic for new players but it missed the mark there.

Thanks for your consideration and for the fun I've had collecting on this game so far. Especially with the severe supply shortages of physical cards, it's nice to still be able to collect and trade it with friends without spending a crazy amount of money. I hope this set can be adjusted to be a draw and something to be excited about rather than a reason to give up for some players.
