What if we don't have calrex in ZA

People have been so reliant on shadow and ice rider calrex so what will vgc players do about this? Hopefully other Pokemon will benefit from this.

It won't matter whether or not Calyrex is in Z-A as far as VGC is concerned, since it seems like it will continue to be in Scarlet/Violet until Pokémon Champions releases. VGC was never hosted in Legends: Arceus, either; VGC stayed in SwSh back then.

I mean, ZA will have online play with ranked battles, which Arceus didn't have

They might make it VGC worthy

They won't be in Pokémon Legends Z-A, I can't say for sure off course, because the game isn't out yet. But, I think we will have a Pokédex similar to Legends Arceus in sizes. And don't forget, their is a limit to the amount of Pokémon you can put in a city. Calyrex is weaker than most Mega evolutions, so you can't count on it anymore.

Also, the gameplay will be different. With the limited information from the trailers and the footage that was spread, it was noticed that their will be no Pokémon abilities in the game. That is logic, because a lot of abilities won't work anymore as Legends Z-A doesn't use turn based battling anymore. However held items are still in the game, this is confirmed in the demo from the Pokémon Worlds. It is logic, because you need megastones to evolve.

Now the question is left, will their be VGC in Legends Z-A? I hope it is. but, I haven't seen any information about it. The only thing shown in a trailer is a battle with four players. I hope we get some one player against one player battles online, but we don't know yet.
