What about another dual region game?
So what if there was another dual region game as in two regions in the same game so you play through one region and then go over to the other region without having to pay for a dlc and you would keep your Pokemon. The trainers would all have very strong teams. Before anyone says “Nintendo would never do that without paying for a dlc” they have done it before. Gold, Heart Gold, Silver, and Soul Silver all did this with kanto and johto together.
So would you want this? What two (or more) regions would you want together? Why do you think that?

I would do alola and kalos.

The regions in close proximity to each other are Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh (based on their real world counterparts and the fact that the route numbers increase from region to region. Those regions would make the most sense for a dual or quad region thing.
There could be a tri region thing with Kalos, Galar, and Paldea due to their real world counterparts being in close proximity but for a dual region it would make the most sense for Kalos and Paldea to be direct neighbors much like France and Spain in real life.

Yeah kalos and paldea would make sense but Japan, America, and France (might be Spain I forget) aren’t exactly close.
