So About That DLC...

So everytime I see the DLC get mentioned it's out of hate. People talking about how they don't like that it costs money, and that it is too early to come out with it, etc. I'm one of those people, so I know.
You know what I haven't seen, though? Theories.
What do we think the game will be about and what we're doing in it?
I have some ideas.
As we know, Hoopa is a huge part of the game. We see one of its portal rings in a wall and I'm assuming we decide to explore it. But where does it lead? What's on the other side. Well, Hoopa can travel through space with its rings, so what if it's like Ultra Space or something, but we actually get to travel to new lands. We'd find new Pokémon as well as new Megas. Alternate Realities. Things like that. Also, I don't know if it was just me, but the Raichus looked kind of dinosaur-y. What is there is a world where the Paradoxes are around. One where the creatures didn't evolve or die (meaning along with the paradoxes there would be fossil Pokémon) and another where they are more technologically advanced than us, meaning their Pokémon are already future-fied and there would probably be more Pokémon as robots but we haven't even seen the normal version of them yet because they haven't been created in our world.
Or maybe I'm way off and sound like a fool.
What do y'all think? What's about to happen?

We know that Hoopa portal leads to a place called Hyperspace Lumiose (or something like that. I'm not sure). Nintendo also released a small statement that says the DLC will unlock the mystery of why there are so many new mega stones. My guess is that it will provide a lore explanation for why the new mega evolutions weren't in the original games.

When I see a DLC before the game was even launched it reminds me of an analogy:
Imagine a game is like a tray of cookies from a baker, chocolate chip cookies and there are 6 cookies on the tray. You buy the cookies for 12 bucks and find they taste alright, the quality of the cookies are fine but it was a decent price. Then the baker asks if you would like some more and happens to have 4 more cookies for 8 bucks. You then notice that the tray of cookies that the baker had sold the original 6 cookies on can fit 10 cookies and the baker had intentionally held back 4 cookies to make the original 6 look like a complete package. How does that make you feel?

I am theorizing that its gonna be content that shouldve been in the base game.
