About the Kalos starters' megastones being only obtainable via Ranked Battle.
A thing that needs the Nintendo Switch Online in doing so.
As cool their designs are, I can't help but feel that having no ways to use them during the main story of Pokémon Legends Z-A sounds disappointing.

It's annoying because I'm not actually very good at competitive, so I likely won't be able to get them.

I'm just not confident in my Ranked skills. I know I'm about to get SLAUGHTERED and never reach the nessaccerry rank to get them, so I'll lose them forever!
But think about this;
If they are making the first three seasons have Mega Stone rewards…
What's to stop them in doing that more, locking other awesome Megas to a mass population forever.
This is just a bad decision on their behalf!

Yeah, the whole thing is just like "what the heck". I'm probably not going to have beat the game in the time needed to get the Greninjite, and it'll take me until the end of the time the Chesnaughtite is around to throw together a half-decent team!!!

As long as they didn't increase the price for online like with gamepass core increasing by 20 bucks then its ok, still need online for some exclusive trades.
