Forum guide #2

this will explain the edit button function so first the edit button can only be used once you already posted something (which is obvious since you can edit your post before posting) though if you are looking what button to press to edit it is three dots within a circle
You will see this on each of the post you made on a discussion on next to the title of you created the thread and and next to the stars you have if you replied to a thread, there is also another way to edit threads you created without even clicking into it will be the same symbol next to the bookmark icon which will allow you to have the option to edit, tag, and mute the discussion (only mute if it isn’t yours) (I’ll also go into tag and mute in a future guide)
You can edit all three types of threads (discussion, question, & idea ‘though I don’t think you could with poll’) you know that someone has edit one of their posts if it has a timestamp saying when they edited their post, this timestamp doesn’t tell you how many times they edited a post though just their most recent edit
you can not edit post that had to go through approval since an edit is not a draft and therefore a change won’t be saved and since it most likely will still have the flagged word that your original post had it says it has to go through approval but since it is not a draft and has no way of getting saved it’s just deleted (I learned this the hard way spending multiple hours rewritting a story I was disappointed I rushed in for it to go through approval system and never see the light of day) also if you try to edit a banned word into a post that did get approved (like the type introduced in gen 6) it won’t
The edit button is useful for grammar errors, if you posted before you were finished, or want to add something else to your post
Hope this guide was helpful

Upload them on any image posting site, press on the photo, copy the link and paste it into the [<>] thing.
