Too many bugs to count

I'm not sure where to even start. Bug #1: The game randomly ends your turn. #2: Card that are public knowledge are not being shown. #3: The game randomly wont let you play random cards, for example I had a game and I was not able to play my cross switches. Nothing in game state was preventing me from doing this. #4: When starting and setting up the board, the game sometimes selects the pokemon for the active spot for you, not giving you the options of who to start. #5: Ive had pokemon overlap other pokemon in the active spot. I had a match where my greninja was in the active, I went to switch it out, but instead the other pokemon just overlapped the greninja, resulting in essentially losing my greninja completely. #6: Ive lost games where I was in the middle of actively playing and the game "times me out" resulting in a game loss.

These are the bugs that I remembered off the top of my head. Im sure I missed more. On top of the numerous bugs, tcgl does not have many features that ptcgo had, such as the ability to challenge a player, a chat function, the ability to trade cards, and/or the ability to play older cards for formats such as GLC. This game as is, is an embarrassment, and I am astonished it was allowed to be released in beta this poorly, especially when ptcgo was discontinued, forcing players to either play tcgl, or not play online at all. I implore Pokemon to take swift action to fix these features and bugs, before a multitude of players decide to give up on TCG Live, altogether.

Trading definitely won't come back. The credit system is the replacement. And no, the fact that it's called a trading card game in English is not a valid argument.

Also, do you have a spotty connection normally?

I experience the exact same issues on Android devices. On Windows PC, there are a different set of bugs that make the game unplayable.

We are weeks from a global release.....God I hope the game is polished and bug free at release. I love this game and want others to love it as well.

No games are bug-free, though this will be very far from that. What we have now is what we will have at release. It'll be at least 5 years before it's polished.

To add to that, it's also disappointing the lack of feedback.

There are no devlogs, not even a simplistic roadmap schedule, main goals for next updates or the future in general. If that is too hard to do you could at list keep a pinned post acknowledging the known problems with its status.

This is important so the player base knowns whats going on and if you care about the bugs and complains.

It's clear that they are just winging it, they probably don't even have a roadmap themselves lmao
