It is possible when they will return him in gen 10, they would show a little of Paldea then gen 10. Maybe that is the reason why Koraidon and Miraidon weren’t there because they were probably saving them for him on his very possible future return.

Well they hinted. Well it might suspiciously mean because they are under NDA which means they couldn’t spoil and if he was really gone, they could have said he is finally gone and there is no point of not confirming he is gone cuz it would be final, right?
