I feel like a fake Pokémon fan

I thought Lanturn was a gen 3 Pokémon and was surprised when someone had a Chinchou profile picture here, checked to see if there were new pictures, but then I realised that no, gen 3 Pokémon haven't been added yet.

I have almost every game from FRLG/Emerald onwards, thousands of hours playing Pokémon, YEARS spent trying to learn everything about it and obsessing over it and learning obscure trivia, even experiencing the obscure trivia myself.

And only now did I learn that Lanturn is a gen 2 Pokémon.

I feel like a fake fan all the time! Even though I'm intensely dedicated to pokemon, I also mix up pokemon regions all the time

Your a real fan even some of the most dedicated fans make mistakes if you spent your time learning obscure pokemon facts and put that much hours into the game your and on a forums dedicated to Pokemon then your definitely in the top 1% of Pokemon fans
