Hello,

I would like to provide some feedback on the new Pokémon TCG LIVE card dex feature. Let me begin with some appreciation:

The master set view is a great option to have. I think the whole idea of having a card dex outside of the shop is quite practical.

But it has a fatal flaw. The number of cards seen on the screen. Now we have lists of around 450 cards and only 9 cards in view on a phone screen! (Even those are not whole.) This makes everything much worse than it was before. We need to be able to see more cards from the dex at once. Browsing the dex for that one card of a set you own in 9/hundreds cards that do not even load their images until you stop scrolling over them is a pain. Bigger cards = limited view.

Being able to view more card pack sets at once to pick from instead of moving through them one by one was also very practical.

So, all in all, the new card dex feature is much appreciated but it urgently needs an option to view more cards on a screen at once (and scroll though the list that way). Adding the old way of choosing packs would be nice, too.

    Completely agree regarding the fatal flaw (card size and use of space) — there's a trend across many online applications to make things really big and bold, sacrificing the ability to see a lot of information at once. The banner on top showing all the expansions takes up 1/3 of the space — highly space consumptive and unnecessary. I can only see 14 cards at once (on a laptop) — this is so inefficient, it renders the entire functionality virtually useless.

    I suggest keeping the card dex for those who like it, but adding back the old gallery (which has been deleted). Shouldn't be that hard to maintain that.

    I have also just realized that I am unable to see the cards I do not own unless I click on them and I miss that feature.

    Of course, the new look does make sense in the new format, but I find it very inconvenient that I cannot toggle on the images of cards I do not own.

    I do not think that the new dex is all wrong, but I believe there is no need to get rid of so many things that worked well when you create something new.

    Dear developers, if this post reaches you, please do not get discouraged by the criticism, but inspired to perfect your work.

    P.S.: I do think that idea of @hylozoe is a good one too and could solve the issues.

    I think a search function and a filter function would be good too.

    I would like to second this,

    As a card encyclopedia (dex) I want to use it to look up a card quickly. No search function combined with high load times does not allow me to do this. [Currently i go into the deck builder and edit a deck to look up a card which is not intuitive when you have a dex option] It does allow you to keep track of your overall collection better than previous though so that is a plus.

    Preload all set cards on load in to dex.

    Search feature.

    Default display main set, not master set. (Makes it more obtainable and aesthetic as easier to complete.)

    Greyed out unowned cards rather than not displayed.
