Card Redemption Issues & Info Gathering - 03.04.22

Hi Trainers!

After the most recent hotfix went out, players are still experiencing issues regarding code redemption for Pokemon TCG Live.

The Dev Team would love to grab as much information from those still experiencing this, specifically after yesterday's update and announcement.

Please comment here with the following information:

  • Did this happen within the app/client or through the web redemption site?
  • Are the items still appearing in your inventory, but no notification showed up when redeeming?
  • What types of code cards were redeemed (boosters, boxes, etc.)? Or what mix of cards from what sets were used?
  • Did this happen with a specific number of codes being redeemed? How many were redeemed when this happened? (10 codes vs. 5 codes)
  • What time of day did this occur for you?
  • What specific platform did this happen on? (Android, Windows, Mac)

    • Did this happen within the app/client or through the web redemption site?

    • Are the items still appearing in your inventory, but no notification showed up when redeeming?
    • I get a notification which is below, after this I can click okay then collect all and redeem another 10 if I wish. I get this error everytime I redeem 10 cards. Sometimes when I redeem more than 6 but never when its less than 7. I do not get packs until I restart but when I restart I get all my packs at once. Doing this way I can get like 70 packs to open at once.
    • Code: 2, message: "A task was canceled."
    • What types of code cards were redeemed (boosters, boxes, etc.)? Or what mix of cards from what sets were used?
    • Boosters, however If I do ETBs and boxes they will not show up on restart if I get the error above. I am not sure If i get the credits and/or items. therefore everything but boosters i make sure not to use more than 6 codes (I actually do 5 as a rule)
    • Did this happen with a specific number of codes being redeemed? How many were redeemed when this happened? (10 codes vs. 5 codes)
    • About 95% chance of happening with 10 codes 0% chance with 6. Above 6 the chance increases with each number.
    • What time of day did this occur for you?
    • All day
    • What specific platform did this happen on? (Android, Windows, Mac)

    • What types of code cards were redeemed (boosters, boxes, etc.)? Or what mix of cards from what sets were used? ETB and booster box for brilliants stars.
    • Did this happen with a specific number of codes being redeemed? How many were redeemed when this happened? (10 codes vs. 5 codes) It happened with 10 and even 2.
    • What time of day did this occur for you? 3/4/22 around 3-4 am.
    • What specific platform did this happen on? (Android, Windows, Mac) windows

    • What types of code cards were redeemed (boosters, boxes, etc.)? Or what mix of cards from what sets were used? A mix of 51 codes, including 15 Build and Battle boxes, Premium boxes, Tins and Promos
    • Did this happen with a specific number of codes being redeemed? How many were redeemed when this happened? (10 codes vs. 5 codes) Between 1 and 10 codes per time.
    • What time of day did this occur for you? Morning and Afternoon
    • What specific platform did this happen on? (Android, Windows, Mac) Android
