When are they going to fix it? It makes the game unplayable for me.

This happens regularly and makes me mad because I don't have a very stable wifi connection and I lose lots of ranked matches because of it. The game totally freezes at some point if my connection goes out for a single second (freezes as the interface becomes completely unresponsive).

This makes no sense because handling this issue is basic online gaming programming. The game should recognize the exception and try to reconnect. How can't Pokemon implement it? How could this game get out of Beta without fixing this simple issue??

The devs don't have enough experience to implement advanced features like that.

That said, if your connection is poor you're screwed even if they fix the desync issue.

I'm not asking for much. If the game detects the connection has changed the MINIMUM it should do is trying to reconnect. This also happens when my phone changes from 5g to Wifi.

The advanced feature of reconnecting. It's really obvious that these are all new devs who don't have even the basics down. It took over a year after the start of the beta for them to figure out how to set flags.

You're probably better off seeing if you can get people to come together and make a fan client at this point.
