I suppose in some way it makes sense for robots to have a formulaic naming convention. As if they were all different models from the same production line.

The "prehistoric" Pokémon have a lot more variety in their names, but I am not too keen on them either. Perhaps it is deliberate, new Pokémon only observed and named by researchers, but I think the names are a little uninspired.
