Properly Reveal Public Knowledge During Card Interactions

Problem: I have noticed that the game does not properly reveal cards during card interactions that move cards from public knowledge zones (e.g. the discard pile) to private knowledge zones (e.g. the hand).

This is a massive issue, often, not enough time is given for players to take stock of what actions have occurred. Example: Klara: When playing Klara, you may select up to two Pokemon, and two Energy cards and move them from your discard pile to your hand. In the game's current state, it does not properly indicate to the opposing player which cards have been selected. I have noticed some cards are better than others at revealing cards as they should, while some only show up for a second - or not at all (i.e. Klara).

This prevents proper gameplay as the game is actively obstructing information that should be public knowledge - at least at the time of occurrence.

Ruling: The relevant ruling can be found on the compendium sourced from the TPCi Rules Team (2011-12-01) under Gameplay/Discard Pile|Meta-Rulings/Meta-Rulings. Ruling Number 787. It reads "Whenever any cards move from a Zone anyone can see (such as the Discard Pile) to one not anyone can see (such as [y]our Hand, that card must be revealed to all players." To anyone who has played Pokemon TCG, this ruling should feel obvious.

Solution: Create a card animation, that properly reveals cards to all players when moving cards from public knowledge zones to private knowledge zones (and by extension from private knowledge zones to private knowledge zones, when there is a card type requirement).

Definitely an issue. Adding an animation for this would be good. Also a game log would address this issue.

I've also noticed this with Hisuian Heavy Ball as well.

If helpful, I can continue compiling instances of this problem with different cards (though it seems to be common with many cards that target and move cards between zones). I would appreciate considering the pros and cons of other solutions. For example, popups and overworked animations might slow the game. A game log could solve this issue, however, the log would have to be opened to find the information yourself. Also, consider how a log might affect competitive play - where of course in the TCG there is no "game log". Others have suggested revealing public knowledge cards to all players more permanently, like how MTG arena handles these interactions - but again this option differs greatly from how the physical TCG is played. I think the best solution is a streamlined animation, and possibly a log of the past couple of game interactions. Hopefully, any animations or popups do not slow down the pace of the game (for both players).

@Mod_Champion I would appreciate bringing attention to my other forum post about first turn indication. Thank you.
