Which Pokémon feels like it should’ve had a pre-evo or baby form?
Let’s talk about the ones that skipped childhood. Which Pokémon would you have loved to see a baby stage for, and what would you call it?

Babies were a cool introduction to breeding mechanics in gen 2, but they became annoying Pokédex filler after that. You essentially had to do more work to acquire a worse version of the Pokémon you were breeding.
That said, it did mean that certain higher level Pokémon could appear in earlier routes in later games in their baby form, and that was a much better application of the concept.
There are a number of gen 1 Pokémon that I feel could use a baby form simply so they are not born as huge or strong monsters right away. Onyx, Scyther, Pinsir and Tauros come to mind. Tauros's baby form could even evolve into a Miltank depending on the gender, if Game Freak want to firmly canonise that family tree.

Onix would make sense, though I don't know what it'd look like. Also, maybe… Lickitung? the baby could be a little guy who puts EVERYTHING in his mouth!
