Hello, all
Dialga just beat me in pokemon brilliant diamond, the autosave was on and the game sent me to the pokemon center. I know that if you beat Dialga and after brating elite four and becoming champion, you can re-encounter Dialga and it can be shiny but if it wasn't shiny and beat me, can I still do a shiny hunt or it is already set and wont be shiny?
Thank you

Yes, you can still shiny hunt Dialga even though it beat you and the autosave saved after the defeat. Here's why and what you need to do:
- Legendaries Respawn: In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, unlike some earlier games, legendary Pokémon that are defeated will respawn, giving you another chance to catch them.
- Triggering the Re-encounter: To trigger the Dialga re-encounter, you need to defeat the Elite Four again after the initial battle where Dialga defeated you.
- Shiny Reroll: Each time you re-encounter a legendary after beating the Elite Four, the game rerolls its stats, including whether it's shiny or not.
- How to Shiny Hunt: To shiny hunt, battle Dialga, if it's not shiny, faint or run from the battle, then re-defeat the Elite Four to make it respawn for another encounter. Repeat this process until you find a shiny Dialga.
In short: Defeating Dialga and having the autosave activate simply means you need to beat the Elite Four again to get another chance to encounter it, allowing you to resume your shiny hunt.
