I wouldn't know since I haven't gotten one yet but I would wager that with 2020 Ampere hardware(with a few 2022 Lovelace enhancements) would do wonders compared to the 2015 Maxwell hardware in the original Switch.

People do seem to be reporting better performance on the Switch 2, but I do not intend to buy one to confirm it for myself.

Of course, the performance issues are just one of SV's many crippling problems. It is disappointing that they were never properly fixed on the S1, and you shouldn't have to buy new hardware to have the game function properly (or better anyway). It will also do nothing to address the game's core design.
