Game Idea: Legends taking place in an alternate universe
So for a game idea I thought a possibility could be a Pokemon game taking place across various dimensions using the wormholes established in the Sun/Moon games. In Ultra Sun/Moon I thought the multiple dimensions stuff was not fleshed out that greatly and seemed kinda rushed, would be nice to revisit it and be able to travel to various dimensions and discover new ultra beasts and different areas.

Gen 4 was the first generation to use alternative dimensions as a plot point. They also had the Link Cable in the ORAS Delta Episode connecting to other dimensions. Given that you used link cables to connect to other games in the Game Boy days, the implication is that each copy of a Pokémon game is its own dimension.
I am sure they will dabble with the concept again. It is simply too useful a plot device when it comes to explaining how previous characters and legendaries show up in later games.

I really want them to bring back the whole original timeline thing they were hinting heavily towards from gen 6 - gen 7

My memory is a bit rusty, havent played them in a while (considering I really played some of them around launch). Can you tell me what is up with the original timeline stuff?

In OR/AS the battle tower never existed.
In Sun and Moon we meet Annabelle who remembers protecting it with her life.
In Ultra Sun And Moon we see a world taken over by ultra beasts in the ultra whormhole for Guzzlord.
There’s also the whole thing with gimmicks only existing in the remakes and not the originals.
There’s an entire anime arc in sun and moon about alternate universes.
My theory is that the ultra beasts invaded the pre gimmick timeline and destroyed it, because there weren’t powerful gimmicks to stop them. Annabelle escaped and many others didn’t.
