I asked this question over a year ago, and since the forums community has changed a lot since then I decided to ask again what your favourites are.

I’ll go first:

Pikmin 3

Kid Icarus Uprising

Deltarune

Xenoblade Chronicles

Smash Bros Ultimate

    I might as well go:
Halo Combat Evolved (well, any Bungie Halo title really)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
    Final Fantasy XIII
    Judgment/Lost Judgment
    Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time

Didn't you say Halo 2 Anniversary was your favourite in a previous thread? Any reason for the change?

I have noticed a lot more love for Final Fantasy XIII in the past year. It was reviled in its day. I did play the first one, but didn't touch the sequels. I couldn't believe SE kept making FFXIII games, given the reception.

Is it a case of children of the time now being 20-somethings with nostalgia for them? Has it been long enough since people last played to forget their flaws? Has someone come out with a "why FFXIII is good, actually" video on YouTube?

I found FFXIII very disappointing. I loved the aesthetic, the lore of the setting and the music, but I hated the gameplay and the characters. And in a 20+ hour RPG, that's a deal breaker.

Speaking of the Final Fantasy series, my favourite would have to be either FFVI or FFX. FFX was my first (I didn't have a SNES or a PS1 growing up). The series has been on my mind recently because there is a Magic the Gathering collaboration set launching this month. I am really looking forward to it.

I like halo 3, halo reach, and infinite. Also, modern halo is just so sad. The game (especially mcc) is riddled with hackers

Also, smash ultimate and smash brawl are peak, and I would kill for a smash bros show or a movie.

I still really like H2A and to be honest I hold it up equally as it is the same awesome story and campaign with amazing graphics but it doesn't have a great multiplayer.

I have also heard FFXIII was hated on but I just went and played it regardless of the criticism and it turned out to be a great game. I found that the gameplay was quite good, being somewhat strategic compared to the previous entries of "grind till you drop" (despite Pokemon doing that as well, also I was able to beat Sephiroth in one hit with knights of the round table). The sequel was also very good and had quite a unique party system (in a good way) but the ending sucked and the third game sucked too. Nostalgia may play a role in this change of heart for FFXIII but personally I think the reason people are looking back at it and saying "wow its good" is because the newer entries are being treated like FFXIII was. To be honest I haven't really heard much about that phenomenon I am mostly guessing.

FFX is quite a good game, my first entry was FFI (Dawn of Souls edition on the GBA, played it on the DS Lite).

I grew up with a DS Lite, an Xbox 360, and later a 3DS XL. Great consoles.

I heard of the card thing they are doing, I see ads of it every now and then. I don't really play that, just Pokemon TCG. I cannot afford to get into a new card game.
