Why can't you play expanded format with friends in TCG Live?
My friend and I want to play expanded format together, but we can't. Why is this? It can't be very difficult to implement. It's a feature we'd love to see in the future. There are so many decks we'd like to play against each other that are simply off limits due to this limitation.

We are waiting for that "feature" since the day this game was released, but they never directly explained why not allow it, nor when they really expect it to be available (if ever)...
So I believe that limitation it's not a priority form them unfortunately, because like you said it doesn't seem to be that hard to implement.

Was wondering the same thing... it sucks having to try and queue randomly at the same time. After coming back to Pokémon it was already sad to see that my decks were gone with the rebranding, and now I can't even play old strategies with my friends because the only mode for friends is Standard.
