Trainer cards

I wasn’t able to use any trainer cards for three rounds. Any reason why?

  Were those trainer cards Items and was your opponent using Budew?

  it was any trainer card, they might have been I can’t recall, but I made sure their Pokémon didn’t have any abilities that stopped me from using trainer cards.

  If it attacked one of your pokemons, you (as a player) can not use items during your following turn
