Crabominable ex Attack does wrong damage

Crabominable ex’s “Insatiable Striking” attack description says, “During your next turn, this Pokémon’s Insatiable Striking attack does +40 damage.” However, if Crabominable ex attacks, then is forced out of the active slot with, for example, “Sabrina” or “Cyrus” on the opponent’s turn, and then is switched back in, the attack only does 40 damage instead of 80. The wording of the attack description suggests that it should still do 80 damage despite having been temporarily removed from the active spot.

    That's intended behavior.

Placing active pokémon to bench always reset any special status and effect of ability in all iterations of Pokémon TCG.

Even AI opponent will actively play Sabrina just to force Crabominable ex back to bench and reset the effect of that attack, because the script take this reset into account.

That's how the basic PTCG rule-set works.

Intended or not, the attack description does not indicate that. Perhaps it could be phrased, “During your next turn, this Pokémon’s Insatiable Striking attack does +40 damage if it remains active.” I am not objecting to any particular behavior, I just think the language should be accurate.
