New lurker first question: Does the game have its own bots?

My apologies as I am new… if there is a lack of appropriately matched players does the game provide bots?

On many matches I have newly constructed winning decks, usually two wins in a row while matching a human (random non-immediate times between choices while its their turn). After (usually) winning two I match what seems like a bot - its the perfect counter-deck to mine OR its practically identical.
But the tell tail sign is that they act IMMEDIATELY no matter what. This is not internet speeds or old school ping or speeds connecting to relay servers.

The player moves at maximum speed far beyond a normal human behavior. You play enough games it’s incredibly easy to tell.

Just lemme know I’m not crazy.

You just never know with this poorly built game. They have lost alot of players over the past couple of years. One thing I can say though, your definitely crazy playing this game lol you have joined our crazy people club who love Pokémon TCG! Welcome aboard mate

I mean it could. I disagree - this isnt a poorly built game, you can install the game on your iphone, ipad, laptop, desktop, samsung phone, HTC phone, i mean…. Apple designs their own products so their own software works, but you notice how you cant put any apple software on any device? thats cuz it wont work lol.

The game probably does have bots. It would make sense and I dont think thats a bad thing. It means that even if you dont have someone to play against, you can still play regardless.

It's been widely documented the game is indeed very poorly built, the developers don't break their game every update because its 'built properly.' The TCG game itself is amazing (the best their is out there) but this app is god awful, go and play any other TCG app and compare. It's a shame really because Pokemon TCG should be a goldmine for the company to exploit, Pokemon Pocket proves that. PTCGO (the old version) ran better than Live does unfortunately. By no means am I a hater, I just want to see what this game could be with proper love put into it.

There are no bots in game... they already answer this question.

The only thing close to that it's when you play "vs the computer", and if you did play it you can easily understand how horribly bad it performs...

And also yes, the game is very poorly build indeed... for the most part since the game released they could barely keep the game playable.

Yes there are bots in this game! Before the most recent rotation they used the Roaring Moon default deck. Now they use a slightly altered Charizard ex deck. You can tell bots because they have a random series of numbers in their name along with whatever letters they use for a name. I don't believe these are bots programed by the developers because they are actually competent while the AI in the testing part of this game is dumb. The bots you meet in the ladder are players who programmed their accounts to play for them because they can't be bothered to actually play this game.
