What Pokemon would make the best house pet?

Any Pokemon at all. Not just cat and dog Pokemon. For in real life I mean. And I don't mean "What would be the best Pokemon to have in real life". In the scenario that you lived in the Pokemon world, which Pokemon would you pick as a pet. You can't just say like, Arceus or Victiny.

I would probably choose Flareon or an eeveelution like that. But since I would probably live in the Kalos region if I could live anywhere in the Pokemon world, I would most likely choose Meowstic.

Eevee would probably be the easiest. Depending on the personality of the Eevee, it could be pretty close to a cat or dog, VERY common pets, meaning it'd be a lot easier to find things for it than a Pokémon like Crobat or Slaking. Plus, it's a Normal type, meaning there's no risk of it burning your house down or destroying things accidentally. It's also small, meaning it's easier to take care of than a big Pokémon, which would need a BIG space to be left in (if owned as a pet, which would mean it's usually outside the Pokéball) and lots of care.

in reality I think I would actually choose Alcremie because it can give me cream while I’m cooking it’s my third favorite pokemon and I think it would be easier to take care of than my first two (espurr and Beheeyem) since Irl im not a big pet person since they are a lot of work and have sent my mom to the ER and Beheeyem would probably just mind control everything

I think yamper, obviously but I think there's a lot of potential for other types of pokemon that are similar to real world pets. Honestly a furret or skwovet would be so cute. I've always wanted to touch a squirrel's fluffy tail. There's no way an electric type could make a good pet with all the shocking.
