Honestly, if Pokémon were real, one that I'd really like to have is Dragonite! Dratini may be rare, but there are some places (such as Casseroya Lake) where the issue is less actually finding one, and more making sure it doesn't get away, which can be prevented with one of several moves, primarily Mean Look or the Abilities Arena Trap, and Shadow Tag, depending on what I have. I see Dragonite as a good choice because it's very loyal and will protect me if I'm in danger; it can fly really fast, by my calculations, at top speed, it can fly about 42 kilometers (26 miles) in just one minute, if the Pokédex can be taken at face value; it's rideable, so I can fly somewhere on Dragonite; it's friendly, and I think it would by fun to have around; and also, it's a dragon. Who wouldn't want a dragon? The only downside I can see is that it can get very destructive when it's angry. If it's not an option, Altaria is another cool Dragon-type in the area! Plus, it would be fun to have a fluffy dragon that sings!

I would choose Appletun because the Pokedex says that the nectar it produces is sweet and edible.

The god of the Pokemon world? How would you even reach its forehead to pet it?
