Landscape mode for iPad/Tablets
I just wanted to provide the feedback that having to play Pokemon Trading Card Game Live in portrait mode on my iPad Pro is a really bad experience as a player. I actually bought this tablet specifically to play PTCG Online a few years back, and that game is such a good experience in landscape mode on this device. It would be really nice for the replacement game to have that feature parity.

Completely agree. Also, just from practical standpoint it’s very hard to play without a specific setup to charge your device while playing. This could also be fixed by letting the screen flip when turning the device upside down. Landscape mode would be much more preferred though.

Is there any hope these guys are going to address landscape and the other iOS issues? The iPad Pro experience is lacking so much in comparison to PTCG online

@Mod_Champion I did as you advised, never received so much as an acknowledgment.
It is now 2 years later and no one with an iPad can play in landscape mode. This request is on the first page of all requests if you sort by "Top", so it's clearly not a contrived desire that only a handful of people would benefit from.
I truly don't understand this design decision and I don't understand the refusal to put it on the roadmap. Personally, I barely play the Pokémon TCG at all anymore, as this decision has taken away my simplest, most comfortable way to play.

I check back every now and then and I am baffled there is STILL no landscape mode on tablets and that as far as I can tell, there has been zero info re: whether or not they ever plan to add it.
I’ve been asking for this feature since beta testing trying to convey how huge of a difference the experience is for tablet players, and trying to explain that it’s literally an accessibility issue (I play on my tablet in bed a lot due to chronic pain/illness and I cannot hold my tablet in portrait mode comfortably for any extended amount of them for the same reasons). I also find the game difficult and uncomfortable to play and see on my phone.
I was genuinely excited about PTCGL when it was announced. I defended the game through all the early negative feedback. And now I have only played once since release, even though I used to play PTCGO almost daily. The ability to play PTCGO on my iPad (in landscape mode) was part of what I loved about it, and I do not understand why the phone app was prioritized over the arguably much better experience of playing on a larger screen like an iPad, especially when literally no previous TCGO players were used to playing on the phone (since it wasn’t available for phone).I know we’re not the only players complaining about this issue. Are we really such an insignificant part of the player base that it’s just been decided it’s not worth the time/effort to retain us? It seems like such a simple thing since a landscape mode already exists for desktop. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s actually something that would take a lot of dev time to solve. But at the very least, TELL US whether or not this will ever happen any time soon. I’m increasingly thinking it won’t and that I need to just move on from hoping I’ll get to enjoy this game regularly again.
I’ve seen multiple other oft-requested features have been added (like a collection view) which is great, but this one issue is literally keeping multiple players from even playing the game. That seems like something that should be prioritized.

Bro this client is an absolute joke! PTCGO was a much better client.
The ridiculous thing is when this client first launched PTCGL 2 or so years ago. You could use a force landscape app, to force the game in landscape mode (desktop PC).
Then after a view updates this idiots wwent and blocked the use of forced landscape mode apps.
Now if you use a forced landscape app. It will landscape the game, but you are stuck on the loading forever. You will never reach the games main menu.
