Corviknight Battle Deck Illegal??
I bought the CK battle deck for my son the other day, and I go to redeem it so we can play with it online, but the client says it's illegal. How in the world can they sell a deck that's not usable online?

Pokemon tcg uses a "set rotation". at some point every year the oldest cards in the standard format become illegal, with the intention to keep the card pool small and keep the game fresh.
The Corviknight deck released over a year ago and was legal last year. However, some of those cards left the format on March 30th 2023.
If your son wants to play that deck, the best solution i can think of is to remove the cards marked as illegal and switch them for some of the free cards the game gives you.

The deck should also be usable in casual "expanded" format, but you won't be able to climb ranked ladder with it.
