It spawns in the Terarium (expansion pack). I can trade you one if you'd like me to.

If you are looking in the base game they are probably one of the rare spawn in the wild. This is because they only spawn in trees and are really only in one cluster on the map.

Oh really? I can't recall seeing them in the base game, only in the Terarium.

It is weird, there's a wild Tera Slaking in the wild, but I've only seen that and Vigoroth in the wild.

Yeah there are hordes of them in the terrarium, but you can find them by knocking down trees in the marsh are of paldea.

There's also non-Tera Slaking as somewhat rare spawns in Socarrat Trail. As for Slakoth, I've never found it in Paldea, but from what I've heard, it's really rare and appears in trees, like @clasingla said. Additionally, you shouldn't look in South Province (Area 3), because there aren't any trees it can spawn in there, so it's restricted to Mass Outbreaks where it can spawn on the ground.

Slakoth is a rare spawn in Trees. Due to this you’re better off getting Vigoroth and breeding one or waiting to get one in DLC zones. As rare as Slakoth is, its not as much of a pain as it was over Gen 4 Honey Trees, Safari Zone catches(any Gen honestly), Spiritomb, or catching Feebas(and evolving it…). Probably a few other annoying Pokémon to catch(like wandering Legendaries), but Slakoth in Sacarlet/Violet, despite its rare spawn, is not one of them as I see it.
