I had yellow on my old 3ds. I had a haunter named goober at lvl 100 because I didn’t know about trade evolutions. Still pains me that I sold the 3ds

Pokémon Yellow for me, although I did play Pokémon Blue on a friend's Gameboy prior to that. Yes, that dates me, but Pokémon wouldn't be where it is today unless people like me got it started. Despite having no one to trade with, I routinely get all 151 for the Pokédex(yes even Mew) thanks to the Trainer Fly glitch that 100% doesn't corrupt your game data if done right and permits using Pokémon I otherwise wouldn't bother using since they come far too late or are not available by normal means. I've also dabbled in other games since then, including Pokémon Gold but I haven't really enjoyed anything recent.

When Nintendo eventually launches the Switch 2(seriously should have been out 2 years ago when NVidia was done with its Software for it), I intend to get Pokémon Scarlet and its accompanying DLC(along with Legends Z-A obviously). When I do though, I may post a small request on here for fellow Scarlet players. I'd really like to use an Alolan Vulpix in a playthrough since it's my favorite Pokémon after all, but it's locked to the post-game. Meaning I'd need someone to breed one(IV's and Nature not important, although I'd prefer it be Timid or Modest) so that I can channel my inner Lillie and have one during a playthrough. Whether I'll use the Kanto Vulpix, I haven't decided yet(strongly considering it too). My first planned team for Scarlet is probably going to be Alolan Ninetales, Meowscarada(in honor of Liko), Clodsire, Armarouge(if not Ninetales), Annihilape, and Gyarados. Nice balance of three Special Attackers, two Physical Attackers and one annoying blob that sets up Stealth Rocks, Toxic and otherwise annoys people like its Johto cousin.

I started with Emerald, which I played on an online emulator. Later, I got White as the first non-emulated game I played.

Legends Arceus was my first game that I actually owned.

unless you don't care to grind them out. That's perfectly okay too. I just know there's a part of me that knows in the future I want to have the game exclusive Pokémon too. Not just the version exclusives.

Bit late responding to this, but the game is easy enough that you don’t need Paradox or Ruinous Legend Pokémon to roll over the opposition. I got a few more weeks to go before the Nintendo Switch 2 drops but when I do get my hands on one and Scarlet + DLC, I’ll likely roll with Meowscarada(was really torn on this since all 3 starters are quite decent), Alolan Ninetales(will need someone to trade me a baby Alolan Vulpix given its post-game or I can simply bide my time and get my own with Tinkaton being its placeholder), Ursaluna(Bloodmoon variant. Clodsire will be my placeholder until I get it), Gallade(Sharpness + Sacred Sword… enough said), Salazzle(Fairy counter) and Gyarados(pretty much insurance, only really needed for BB E4).

Highest Base Stat overall is Ursaluna at 555 with the average of my entire team being 521.33.
