Overdrive Smash bug

After using Overdrive smash with Togekiss.

Then the opponent uses Sabrina or Cyrus.

The damage resets to 60 For some unknown reason..

    This is how it's supposed to work. Effects on the active Pokemon are removed when the active Pokemon moves to the bench.

    It doesnt say as long as its in the active, im not sure you are vorrect on this one

    Apparently comments with links get moderated, so I can't link you to the relevant ruling elsewhere on the forum, however:

    Pocket's rules are shared with the TCG's main rules, and page 12 of the rule book spells this out: "When your Active Pokémon goes to your Bench (whether it retreated or got there some other way), some things do go away—Special Conditions and any effects from attacks."

    The text of attacks is not exhaustive of all relevant game rules that might affect it, so "it doesn't say it in the attack" is not indicative of how the game rules work.
