Trading Seems Remarkably Hard

Hourglasses for trading seems intuitive, and matches up with the other resources of the game - pack stamina and wonder trade stamina already exist and seem fine. Trading one card for another card of a similar rarity also seems fine, it prevents people from getting ripped off and keeping the distribution of cards even.

But also needing to destroy cards in order to get tokens to trade seems like a bit much. Especially when 5 cards of 3 diamond are needed in order to get enough tokens for another 3 diamond card… that's not one card for one card, that's 6 cards in order to get another one! I'm not able to make many trades at all before I run out of extra cards to trade with. This system seems pretty harsh to use and frankly punishing, it does not feel good at all.

That's 12 cards destroyed in order for each person in a trade to get 1 new card.

Which means that not only do you have to destroy so many cards, but your trading partner has to as well.

Keep in mind that both you and your trade partner need to scrap 6 cards, so that's a total of 12 lost in order for each person to get 1.

That matters because you need your friend to be able to afford and benefit from the trade too.

I don't want some stranger off the internet's Vaporeon 1-Star card. I want my friend's who has been saving it for me for weeks now. But I'm not sure I can afford that trade without scrapping cards that I promised for other people.
