Promo event pack bug
So this is either a bug or I've just had strange luck but I noticed this for both the Venusaur and Blastoise event. When you save up a bunch of promo packs so that you open all of them at once. They are all the same card. This happened to me multiple times, where I would end up with 5+ of the same card.

I tested your hipotesis and I can confirm that it was just coincidence.
The first couple of tries I actually got the same result as you did, but then at the 3rd try I got different cards from the packs... so it's not a bug.

I have opened over 30 promo packs for the Blastoise event, and still have yet to get the card. I complete a battle, and open the promo pack as soon as I receive it, still no Blastoise promo card. I spoke to one person that has opened 50 promo packs, all one at a time as I did, and he still does not have the Blastoise promo card. Meanwhile, all of my friends that play the game have gotten the Blastoise promo card within 10 battles, and have multiple duplicates of the Blastoise promo card. I genuinely think there is a bug that some are experiencing.

Again, people saying bad luck it's a bug… you have a 12.66% chance to get Blastoise in each Promo Pack (it's the lower of the 5 promo cards), the chances of not getting a Blastoise are more than 85% each time you open a promo pack... so this doesn't mean by any means it's guaranteed you will ever get that card even if you open 1 million packs... why would it be a bug?
So claiming it's a bug that 30 or 50 packs were opened and not a single Blastoise found... it's wrong... it's simply bad luck.
