Shiinotic's "Calming Light" Effect (asleep) Cancelled by "Dangerous Laser" (item)
I encountered a bug where the effect of Shiinotic's Calming Light was unintentionally cancelled when I used the item card "Dangerous Laser".
- I used Brute Bonnet's Toxic Powder to poison the opponent's active Pokemon.
- Then used Shiinotic's Calming Light to put the opponent's active Pokemon to sleep.
- Then used "Dangerous Laser" item to apply Burn and Confusion.
- But during Step 3, Dangerous Laser removed the Sleep status, which should NOT have happened.
Below is the game log for that turn. I've highlighted the part where the sleep status was removed by Dangerous Laser.
Please help me understand. If this is a bug, please fix.

You can't apply more than 3 (of 5) Special Conditions to your opponent's Active Pokémon at a time. It can be Burned and Poisoned, but for the rest (Asleep, Confused, and Paralyzed), you can only apply 1 more of them.

The previous two comments are correct. There are five special conditions: Burned, Poisoned, Paralyzed, Asleep, and Confused. This is understood most simply when thinking about the irl cards, because of how you display the conditions. Burned and Poisoned have their own coins that you place on your card when it has the affect. But Paralyzed, Asleep, and Confused are all displayed by tilting the card. For Paralyzed, you turn to the right. For asleep, you turn to the left. For confused, you turn it upside down. Given the obvious, your card cannot be turned in multiple directions at once. It cannot be left and right at the same time. Thus, the most recent special condition overrides the previous one, assuming that previous one is not burn or poison. Therefore, this is not a glitch and is intentional. Hope this helps!
