Correct pronunciation

Is arceus pronounced Arseeus or Arkeeus

In the anime, every time they say arceus, they say it like Arkeeus, so I am going to have to go with that one

    アルセウス (aa-ru-se-ou-su). So I go with "arse-eus".

    Also it's funnier.

    Arceus is pronounced arc-ee-us. A friend of mine told me that Arceus was originally pronounced ars-ee-us, but Nintendo changed it because it sounded like a bad word in German. I don't know if that is true.
