You don't need to have all the games (or any at all) to be a Pokémon fan. You just need to like Pokémon, that's the only requirement. There's no such thing as a worthy or unworthy Pokémon fan.

I started being a Pokemon fan in 2016 and back then I mostly just collected the cards and watched the anime I didn’t get to play a game (rather than Pokémon go) until late 2020 when I bought my own Nintendo switch. I personally believe that anyone who enjoys Pokemon is a Pokemon fan. @NoahLaprasForum being on this forum and talking about Pokémon with fellow fans is a big indication of you being a fan. I could give a big explanation of why you are a fan but I’ll give you a simple question.
Do you like Pokemon? If so you are a fan. It’s as simple as that

@NoahLaprasForum i will think of you no different I didn't have my own pokemon game on switch until last year on Christmas when I got scarlet(haven't played it in a few months kinda payed attention to other games) and now I have red and a 3ds (I just got the 3ds yesterday)
