    There is nothing to change. I have the appropriate decks but when they get 25 flips at 50 aage per heads thats OP [Edited by Mod_Nova - Please keep language appropriate for all audiences] and needs to be nerfed. This is nothing like the Mewtwo decks or pikachu. They are childs play compaired to this

    …real? I one competed in a battle over 25 turns and I managed to do a 10 out of 22 coin flip to win, and had my Serperior and Celebi set up early. And zero out of 25 coin flips is unrealistic, for your information.

    Exactly. you must not play the deck often enough to know that 25 is easily obtainable. Just admit that this combo is way to op.

    What is nerfing a card (Pocket)?

    @Pokémon342548

    Nerfing is a term generally used in games to refer to reducing the power or effectiveness of a mechanic or gamepiece, usually for the purposes of balancing the game. This could be a character, a weapon or, in card games, a card.

    Physical cards are difficult to rebalance after release, because they are physical objects already printed and released to the public. Most card games will simply ban problem cards, but others choose to errata them. This presents a problem however, because while future printings can reflect the changes in an errata, existing printings do not, and the fact that the physical card no longer accurately describes the card's abilities can cause a lot of problems for people unaware of the changes, particularly in tournaments.

    A key advantage for digital only card games is that any errata will immediately be reflected in the digital client following an update, and since you need to be updated to play opponents, everyone will always have the latest version of every card. Although it can be a bit jarring the first time a player uses a card if they do not know about the changes.

    In Celebi's case, there are a number of nerfs that could be implemented.

    They could reduce the damage its attack deals. They could reduce its HP so that it remains powerful but can be knocked out faster. A glass canon. They could increase its weakness to fire beyond +20, so that the decks that counter it are more effective at countering it. They could even make it worth 3 points on knockout, making it a risky match losing play.

    Since a lot of Celebi's potency comes from Serperior's ability, nerfing or removing that is also an option.

    I hope you now have a better understanding of the term "nerf" and what people are asking for in this case.

    if there are going to be nerfs we should also have an easily accessed web portal that clearly shows all the nerfs that have happened over time(and maybe a link in game). But we might not need nerfs yet. I think Celebi was so popular and is so popular because building it takes no thinking. Also when is the next expansion?

    if nerfs happen I would like there to be a place that we can see changes like a link in game. And have an encyclopedia of previous changes.
