Can we get a report button for forum errors and glitches on posts?

We have flags for spam and abuse, and can make reports when it comes to bad user behaviour. I am not sure how effective they are, but mods assure us they are important and that they investigate them.

However, there isn't really a good way to report forum errors. Not user violations. Things like posts failing (beyond being held for approval), error messages and polls failing to load.

I think it would be useful to have an error report button on our own posts and a dedicated forum for forum feedback.

    Yes, that button would also be good to warn then about duplicated posts by mistake, it actually happens a lot.

    @clasingla Where is that exactly?

    Perhaps we need a pinned link or post at the top of the forum? It should be more obvious.

    People will still ignore it and post in the most random, unrelated forum they can find for whatever their issue may be, but it would be at least one obvious place to send them.

    But also things can get buried in forum threads, and without DMs we have no way to directly report problems to mods and admins.

    Not that they want to be inundated with reports and messages from everyone who wants to know why their thread wasnot approved or where the edit button is (I feel it should be more obvious, perhaps appearing at the bottom of your own post).

    But I feel there should be a sensible middle ground. Perhaps users should be able to send direct reports once a day or three times a week or something (to limit spam). If mods need more information, they could allow direct communication with the user temporarily or remove the limit.
