Alakazam Ex Vs. Mimikyu

Why does Alakazam do 120 damage to Mimikyu from the bench when it is still an EX ?

Shouldn't it be nullified by mimikyus ability ?

    Because there are ways to disable Mimikyu ability.

    Example: Alakazam ex can attack (from the bench) with Klefki on active spot or using Canceling Cologne.
