i agree! i also love that you mentioned the fact that conceding can also be looked at as a sign of respect instead of drawing out the game if mathematically you already won or lost. to me its like saying checkmate, good game you won. i have seen a few posts about how people dislike the conceding aspect but i think it has many more positives then the probability that players are playing 200 games a day and just hoping the opponent concedes so they can get a win and climb the ranks. To me that sounds like a couple people who set up bot programs to just run games all day and get a % of wins based of glitches or opponent loss of connection etc. there are those players in every single competitive app based game and that wont really change.

Tbh I have never conceded as a sign of respect lol... usually I concede to save time when I know I have extremely low chances of win, or sometimes I really need to leave due to real life stuff that has priority.

@GRussek The game freezes, crashes, glitches and resets itself OFTEN. This cost people points , and they would lose hardearned ranks nig through losing but through Pokemon not bothering to fix the system. This turned a lot of people off, which means they didn’t play. As the new “sparkly bit”, Money-making Pocket is where company attention is focused now, while fixing the game might get some chewing gum or a piece of lint-covered programming tape, but the glitching of this system is well-documented.

Seriously... considering the game state just make it so points are never lost, that thing is not a ranked ladder anyway… who cares.

I usaully have to concede so many matches just from terrible hands being dealt to me over an over again. Get stuck in this rotation of how the cards are dealt out. Its one of the things that annoys me the most with this game. Not like theres any stats being kept anyway. Or any extra rewards for being top rank. Nothing like working your way up the ladder then getting stuck in the bad rng loop an drop down until it comes back around.

When you get to master ball rank it starts dropping again.

Yes but if you play a lot you will be at master league fast (doesn't matter if your win rate it's 10% or 60%), then even if you still lose a lot you will eventually get to Arceus... so would make more sense to just remove the point loss in the master league.

Doesn't make sense to lose points in a ladder that is not competitive nor ranked properly.
