Arceus ladder points
was the intention to not gain or lose ladder points once you reach arceus rank or is that a bug? Just asking for clarification. Thanks.

Yes, here is why:
1) You can't go back down Arceus league once you get there, so no reason to lose points.
2) And with the last update players who end the season in any League above Quick League will reset to Poké League for the next season, so there is no reason to gain points once got to Arceus.

You're wrong. Like every competitive game, there should be a maximum rank, and when you reach it, you should be able to accumulate points to compete for your position on the leaderboards. In the Arceus rank, it should be possible to gain and lose points and have a leaderboard.

Arceus rank does let you gain and lose points, and you can't go to a lower league until the ladder resets.

I'm not at Arceus yet so I'll believe you, but that's not what they annouced.

I'm not wrong, I never said that there shouldn't be a maximum level or that they shouldn't have a leaderboard, or that it shouldn't allow to accumulate points lol...
I'm just explaining why they did it the way they did... I don't even like it but that’s how they decided do implement it, not my fault... it is that it is.

Their Letter to the Community said 'an upcoming system will be implemented for the most dedicated Trainers. We’ll have more details to share on this system in a future update—stay tuned!'
I expect that they will be implementing some new for players who reach Arceus League in the future. Until then, your progress stops once you hit Arceus League.

I really thought I’d be receiving an invitation to the championships after reaching Arceus or I’d get some sort of email from the Pokemon company congratulating me with my complete ladder statistics or something. Instead we got ourselves a stick in the mud
