I though that was very obvious 😂 Pokemon is know to do a lot of "play with words" in most names.
Just one example: Toxtricity (Poison/Electric-type Pokemon) so it is a play on the words "toxicity" and "electricity", there are so many examples of this type of "funny" names.

Most Ice type gym leader names have "Ice" in them. Pryce, Candice, Brycen. I think they stopped doing that starting with gen 6 though.
